At Bethlehem Lutheran we believe in a strong catechetical program. Children attending the Altamont Lutheran Interparish School spend two years of instruction daily with Pastor Vail beginning in the 7th grade. Wednesday night instruction classes are offered for children who do not attend the parochial school. Children not attending the parochial school begin their confirmation instruction in the 5th grade and continue through the 8th grade. The material used for instruction is Luther's Small Catechism published by Concordia Publishing House. |
